  • Acormioclavicular joint injuries are recently increased, but the best treatments are still in controversy. Although the acromioclavlcular ligament plays a important role in the horizontal stability of the acromioclavicular joint. but the more important structure for vertical stability is three acrimioclavicular joint injuries employ a variety of methods for the restoration of coracoclavicular ligament function. This type of coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction technique gives stronger fixation force than slmple coracoclavicular ligament repair technique The asserting point is that bone to bone fixation (coracoacromial ligament bone block transfer) heals early and gives stronger fixtion than bone to ligament fixation So, the rigid fixation force enables the patients to start early motion and prevent functional limitation.
We present a modified surgical procedure. one of the coracoacromial ligament with bone block transfer method for coracoclavicular ligament reconstruction. We report the results of four cases of grade three acromioclavicular joint injuries treated by the authors technique (modified fixation method of coracoacromial ligament bone block to the clavicle).
