Abstract
-
- Two patients of tibial nonunion with bone loss and with angular deformity were treated by the Ilizarov external fixator. Bone defect was closed by the Ilizarov bone transport technique of bone fragment internally and angular deformity was corrected by means of hinges on the Ilizarov apparatus.
- The final results were satisfactory in two cases.
